Artist Statement
We are trapped within the boundaries of a decaying organic system corrupted by man. Our consciousness is being tested at every turn and the processes created in the name of comfort and entitlement have dissolved our desire for purpose and meaning. I’ve noticed that there is an emerging energy among us, pre-existing in the hearts and minds of all men. It is this passion which we all share for life and love that I focus my intentions.
I’m compelled to make a mark. A permanent symbol of positive energy in an evolving medium I’ve only begun to discover. Pieces which once took weeks and months will become years and life-times. They become living stories passed down by tradition, unifying the shared experience we all know and love. They create the substance that fills our bodies and minds and that fuels our souls.
I am a questioner of the standard and accepted expectations of a society engrossed in it’s own greed and self importance. I am a traveler on a journey of endless enlightenment. The people I will meet and the opportunities I am presented will forever change my life, and it is my single goal to reciprocate their positive intentions.
