About this Website
Since 2001 I’ve been writing various bits of information on the internet. Keeping an online journal began as self study in web publishing and has evolved into a successful career in web design. This website (version) began around the beginning of 2008. I’ve had a few blogs before, but I took a 6 month break from blogging to focus on my job as a user-interface designer at Userplane (an AOL company) in the summer of 2007.
I began apprenticing to become a tattoo artist with Jim Hayek, in Newbury Park, CA in February 2008. Jim is an amazing tattoo artist, painter, and photographer and has taught some of the best tattoo artists in the business including Carson Hill, and Mike DeVries. Carson created the Neuma tattoo machine, which I use exclusively. I am currently scheduling appointments week nights and weekends at Jim’s private studio in Newbury Park.
